Arkansas podcast: Answering listener questions on Razorbacks football – SECcountry.com

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks podcast with Jason Kersey, Trent Shadid and Eric Bolin. Today, the guys answer listener questions about 2017 football starters, Arkansas’ biggest football rivalry and more.

SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way Arkansas football coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after beating Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.

Here is a quick rundown on some of the topics we discussed on this, the 120th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:

Who are expected to be 2017 starters?

The guys open up with a question about who will start for Arkansas on the offensive line and on the defensive front. There is only one starter — left tackle Dan Skipper — to be replaced on the offensive line, and the guys largely expect that it will be sophomore Colton Jackson, at least at the beginning of the season.

On the defensive front, it’s a little bit harder to answer because there are so many guys to replace and the Hogs are switching to a base 3-4 defensive system.

What about receivers?

We then answer a question about the young wide receivers that could step up with seniors like Drew Morgan and Keon Hatcher heading to the NFL. Will redshirt freshman Jordan Jones be among the guys to fill the void?

Who is the biggest rival?

We wrap up this episode with several questions about things like recruiting in the state of Missouri and basketball. We also seek to answer what has seemed like a timeless question: Who is the Hogs’ biggest rival? We all have different opinions on that.
